An amount of Rs. 2 cores was sanctioned by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India under the project RUSA in three major heads
1. New Procurement – 60,000,00/-
2. Construction of New Building – 70,000,00/-
3. Renovation work – 60, 000, 00/-
New Procurement: For the central library, computers and related accessories, furniture, electronic goods, and electrical goods have been newly purchased.
Construction of New Building Social Studies Block has been completed through the social sector, PWD, Bankura.
Renovation: Roof treatment has been carried out for Brown Hostel and the Principal’s Bungalow, while exterior painting has been completed for Brown Hostel, Mitchell Hostel, Wesleyan Block, Chappell Hall, the Electronics building, the B.P.Ed building, the Geography & Physiology building, and the NSS building.
